This role is responsible for assembling, fitting, troubleshooting, and finishing automotive components while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.The ideal candidate will have hands-on automotive assembly experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for precision workmanship in vehicle restoration, manufacturing, or dealership environments.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, fit, align, and install automotive components and systemsPerform bumper-to-bumper vehicle assembly and mechanical installation workDiagnose and troubleshoot assembly and fitment issuesRead and interpret:Assembly instructionsWork ordersTechnical drawingsBuild specificationsUtilize hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and precision measuring equipmentEnsure all assemblies meet strict quality and cosmetic standardsCollaborate with:LeadsSupervisorsProduction teamsQuality personnelSupport continuous improvement and production efficiency initiativesTrain and assist junior technicians as neededMaintain clean and organized workstationsFollow all OSHA, PPE, and shop safety proceduresRequired QualificationsMinimum 5 years of automotive assembly, restoration, dealership, or manufacturing experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsExperience with:Vehicle assemblyMechanical installationAutomotive systemsPrecision fitting and finishingAbility to work with hand tools, power tools, and specialty automotive toolsStrong attention to detail and craftsmanship mindsetAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsPositive attitude and reliabilityPreferred QualificationsASE Certification highly preferredExperience with:Automotive restorationLuxury or high-performance vehiclesManufacturing assemblyCustom vehicle buildsFamiliarity with early Porsche models highly preferredExperience mentoring or training techniciansPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods throughout shiftFrequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive hand movementsAbility to lift and maneuver automotive components and tools safelyWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a clean, professional automotive manufacturing and assembly environment with exposure to:Automotive tools and equipmentMechanical systemsMoving components and production equipmentFast-paced production workflowsProper PPE and adherence to all shop safety procedures are required. xhyhwjd BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experienceHealth insurance options401(k) with company matchPaid time offLife and AD&D insuranceShort-term and long-term disability coverageTool support for techniciansCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesOngoing training and developmentQualified candidates are encouraged to apply immediately for consideration.
