ABA Home Therapist - NYC Boroughs!

Our ABA and Special Instruction Home therapists work with our dynamic team of Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapists to serve children aged 0 - 3 that have developmental delays. Children in our program receive 1:1 highly individualized ABA instruction with goals that are child-specific based on thorough assessment, ongoing data collection, and data-driven decision making. Methods include applied verbal behavior, discrete trial instruction, and an emphasis on embedded coaching. Qualifications: New York State Certified Special Education Teacher (Birth-2nd Grade) Licensed Psychologist or School Psychologist Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Teacher of Speech, Language, Hearing or Vision Disabilities including: Certified Teacher for Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certified Teacher of Students with Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) Teacher of the Deaf and Hearing Impaired (TDHI) Teacher of the Blind and Partially Sighted or Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired Preferred but not required: DOH Approval Experience working in Early Intervention Bilingual with proficiencies in Spanish and English Compensation: $60 - $70 per hour Competitive rates Completely digital session notes, progress reports, and data collection Support network of interdisciplinary therapists Supervision and support from our BCBA Home Services Supervisor About You: A passionate and energetic State-certified therapist with a background in Early Intervention or behavioral therapies. In 2018, inspired by the success of our private programs and driven by the need for services in low-income communities, we launched our first public program, McCarton Center Bronx. Here, our team of world-class teachers and therapists utilize the McCarton Integrated Model, which combines speech and language therapy, fine and gross motor therapy, sensory integration therapy, socialization with peers, developmental play skills, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Since we opened, we have grown to be one of the largest and most respected early intervention centers in New York City, having provided educational and therapeutic services to more than 1,500 children in need.
