Responsibilities Patient Care: Provide evidence-based, compassionate care to critically ill medical patients. Monitoring: Manage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring systems, and continuous infusions; respond to rapid patient changes. Collaboration: Partner with intensivists, specialists, respiratory therapists, and care teams to deliver comprehensive care. Critical Thinking: Manage complex cases including multi-organ failure, sepsis, and respiratory distress. Advocacy: Support patients and families through critical illness with empathy and education. Documentation: Ensure precise and timely charting of patient care. Education: Guide families through disease processes and recovery expectations. Quality Improvement: Contribute to improving ICU outcomes and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or currently enrolled Washington, D.C.
