We are currently hiring for a 2nd Shift - Production Associate in our Ashland location. This position will safely perform manufacturing operations in accordance with job card and engineering drawing requirements to produce quality parts.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Follows all safe working practices.
• Operates production machinery and hand tools.
• Reads and follows all job card requirements, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Works productively and efficiently.
• Maintains the work area in a neat and organized manner.
• Reports discrepancies to production management.
• Performs routine maintenance as required to keep equipment in good working order.
• Complies with Porvair Quality System requirements.

Qualifications / Training

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Ability to use common measuring equipment (tape measure, caliper, micrometer)
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
