Finance Supervisor

On-site - San Juan 3-5 Yrs Exp Bachelor Full-time Financial Management and Reporting Supervise day-to-day financial operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll Support, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, Expense Tracking, etc. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, variances and recommend corrective actions. Ensure accurate recording of income and expenses related to the companies. Implement and document scalable accounting processes and internal controls suitable for a startup environment. Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor spending and ensure alignment with budgeted figures. Collaborate with department heads to manage cost controls. Act as a key user and finance lead for the implementation of the Odoo System. Coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth rollout and system integration. Oversee the migration of financial data and validate system accuracy. Develop workflows, reports and automation within Odoo to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency. Train employees on Odoo system use and best practices. Internal Controls and Compliance Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, tax laws and government regulations. Implement and maintain an effective internal control system. Coordinate financial audits and regulatory inspections. Supervise, mentor and support the finance team. Conduct performance reviews and trainings. Ensure accountability and task completion within the deadlines. Business Support Provide financial guidance to support strategic decisions for the companies. Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure accurate calculation of commissions and incentives. Analyze profitability of product line, location, sales performance, etc. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA license is required 2-3 years experience in financial supervision. 3-5 years of accounting experience, including prior startup or small company experience. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment. Provide experience in ERP System, preferable Odoo System. High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability. Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with cloud-based tools (e.g., G Suite, Slack, Notion).
