Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, clearly explaining each step with compassion and clarity
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver exemplary diagnostic images
• Ensure optimal operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain meticulous patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
