In this role, you'll help support the production of food products in a clean manufacturing facility. You'll assist with production, packaging, cleaning, quality checks, and keeping the operation running smoothly. No experience is required. If you're dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Help keep production lines running smoothly
• Set up work areas and supplies for daily production
• Package and handle food products safely
• Inspect products to make sure they meet quality standards
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Remove trash, recycling, and unused materials from production areas
• Prepare equipment for production and cleaning
• Move materials and products using a hand jack when needed
• Perform basic machine adjustments, such as changing labels, tape, packaging materials, or supplies
• Report equipment problems to supervisors
• Complete production paperwork accurately
• Help train new team members when needed
• Assist teammates throughout the shift to keep production moving
• Prepare workstations and supplies for the next shift

Work Environment

This position works inside a food production facility with active production lines and equipment. Some areas of the plant are cooler, while others may be warmer depending on the process.

You should be comfortable:

• Standing and walking for most of the shift
• Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
• Working around production equipment and conveyor lines
• Working in a fast-paced environment
• Following food safety and workplace safety procedures
• Working occasional overtime and weekends based on production needs

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
