Make a meaningful impact every day working with elementary students in a rewarding contract opportunity for a dedicated Physical Therapist. This part-time position, based near vibrant Los Angeles, provides the chance to work in a supportive educational environment serving young learners in Inglewood, CA.
You'll play a key role in continuing quality care as you take over caseload responsibilities from the current Physical Therapist. The position offers flexibility, a manageable caseload, and the fulfillment of shaping students' educational journeys through IEP assessments and individualized interventions.
What We’re Seeking:
- Valid California Physical Therapist license required
- Recent experience in a K-12 or elementary school setting preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting IEP assessments
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment
- Ability to seamlessly assume an existing caseload and maintain consistency for students
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Complete, update, and participate in IEP assessments and meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student's progress
- Document services and student outcomes in compliance with regulations
- Adapt therapy plans based on individual student needs and evolving caseload
