Founded by Cat Lyon—a designer whose passion and expertise have taken her from Brazil to international projects—the firm blends creativity with functionality to create inspiring spaces. We are now seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team and support our financial operations as we continue to grow. Position Overview: As our Accountant, you will manage day-to-day financial activities, maintain accurate records, and provide insightful financial analysis. You will play a critical role in ensuring our operations remain financially sound while supporting the creative work that defines Lyon Interior Design. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow. Reporting & Analysis: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting to support strategic decision‑making. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare necessary filings. Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals during audits. Administrative Support: Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation. Assist with ad hoc financial projects and process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably within a small business or creative environment. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
