Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year A bit about us: A leading food manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to support demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply chain planning across a fast-paced perishable products environment. This role will partner closely with Sales, Operations, Production, and Supply Chain leadership to improve forecast accuracy, reduce inventory risk, and support overall operational efficiency. Strong compensation commensurate with experience Comprehensive health, dental, & vision insurance options 401(k) + company match Generous PTO Paid sick leave Paid holidays Hybrid work schedule And more Job Details Responsibilities: Develop and maintain demand forecasts across SKU, customer, and distribution center levels using historical trends, seasonality, promotions, and market intelligence Partner with Sales teams to incorporate pipeline activity, customer demand signals, promotional plans, and new business opportunities into forecasting models Analyze forecast accuracy, inventory performance, demand variability, and inventory risk to identify improvement opportunities Create reporting dashboards and executive summaries related to forecast performance, inventory health, and operational trends Collaborate with Supply Planning, Procurement, Production, and Operations teams to align demand plans with capacity and inventory targets Support S&OP processes through scenario analysis, reporting, and demand insights Monitor slow-moving and at-risk inventory while recommending actions to minimize waste and improve inventory turnover Lead process improvement initiatives related to forecasting, planning tools, reporting, and data quality Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years of demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, or supply chain analytics experience Experience within food manufacturing, perishables, consumer packaged goods, foodservice, or related industries preferred Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory planning, and S&OP processes Advanced Excel skills required Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics/reporting tools preferred Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing or distribution environments is a plus Exposure to perishable or temperature-controlled supply chains is a plus Background collaborating closely with Sales and Operations leadership is a plus Interested in hearing more?
