Physician - Internal Medicine

Family Medicine or Internal Medicine PhysicianA physician is needed to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services within a clinic-based practice setting. Responsibilities include providing full-spectrum outpatient primary care services to adult and family medicine patients. The physician will diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Conducting preventative care visits, annual wellness exams, and routine follow-up appointments is required. Long-term treatment plans must be developed, and patient care needs coordinated with specialists when appropriate. Accurate and timely documentation utilizing the EPIC EMR system must be maintained. Collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams will ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Participation in shared on-call responsibilities as assigned is necessary. Maintaining productivity expectations during 36 weekly patient-contact hours is expected. Four administrative hours weekly will be utilized for charting, care coordination, and related duties. It is important to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in a supportive outpatient environment. Participation in quality improvement initiatives and organizational standards of care is encouraged. Building strong relationships with patients and the local community is essential. Continuity of care and patient education initiatives should be supported. Adherence to all organizational compliance, credentialing, and clinical standards is required.
