Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and senior populations utilizing standardized assessments along with observational methods.
• Create customized treatment plans that cater to both immediate goals and long-term requirements involving communication, cognitive challenges, or swallowing issues.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions that focus on communication, language processing, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing abilities.
• Engage actively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to devise integrated care approaches.
• Provide valuable education for patients and families to foster progress outside of clinic visits.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure a smooth continuum of care during the treatment process.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation that aligns with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Continue to enhance your expertise by staying updated with advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Earned Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if the candidate is not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Clinical Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred holder of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
