Litigation Associate

Litigation Associate We are seeking a motivated Litigation Associate with at least one year of civil litigation experience to join our team in Pittsburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney looking to build a robust litigation practice in a supportive and collaborative environment. Candidates with experience in commercial litigation and/or transportation law are particularly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of civil litigation cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation. Conduct legal research and analysis on complex litigation matters. Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances. Collaborate with partners and support staff to develop case strategies. Maintain regular client communication and provide timely updates on case status. Assist with business development and marketing efforts as needed. Qualifications Required: J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Bar (or eligibility to waive in). Minimum of one year of relevant litigation experience (clerkships or judicial externships may be considered toward this requirement). Strong academic record and excellent legal research and writing skills. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred / Ideal: Experience in commercial litigation (contract disputes, business torts, etc.). Background in transportation law (trucking, logistics, motor carrier regulations, or related matters). Prior courtroom or deposition experience.
