Sales Representative, Nine West (Greenwich)

A Sales Representative is responsible for executing & driving the Brands overall sales strategy. You will identify opportunities for various wholesale accounts that support the division’s sales targets, profit margins and inventory goals.

This hybrid role is based at our Greenwich, Connecticut, headquarters and requires three days per week in the office—two days in Greenwich and one day in our midtown Manhattan showroom -- with two days working remotely. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Responsibilities :

• Achieve sales goals through business/product strategies that optimize sales and profit for both the accounts and our Company
• Communicate and review with each account on a regular basis for new and re-orders, on order management, shipping, changes in distribution & deliveries, acceleration of deliveries, and cancellations
• Analyze weekly sales and inventory levels for enhanced recommendations
• Ability to execute operational duties to effectively manage a wholesale business - track selling, monitor markdowns, place & supervise orders with consideration of delivery dates and inventory levels needed for fulfillment
• Effectively partner & communicate with internal Product Development, Production, Customer Service and Marketing on all accounts needs, updates and/or changes
• Foster strong communication and collaboration across Nine West retail and International wholesale teams.

Requirements :

• 3-5 years wholesale Footwear Sales experience required
• Experience managing an Independent customer base, Midtier and off price accounts, as well as Ecommerce retailers.
• A proven track record of managing a department store key item business and a retail P&L is highly valued but required.
• Proven ability to sell, influence & negotiate effectively
• Bachelor’s degree
• Extensive Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficiency working with retail customer portals to access, analyze and extract reports and data.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and opportunities and drive actionable business opportunities.
