This role is responsible for performing high quality welds in accordance with drawings, specifications, and WPS requirements. Welders must demonstrate strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and production standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform GTAW (TIG) welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel pipingComplete welds in accordance with WPS, drawings, and customer specificationsRead and interpret isometric drawings, spool sheets, and welding symbolsPrepare, fit, and weld pipe to required specificationsPerform additional welding processes including GMAW and FCAW as neededInspect welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with standardsMaintain proper use of welding equipment and toolsFollow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and shop protocolsCommunicate with supervisors, QC, and fitters to ensure production flowMaintain a clean and organized work areaAdditional DutiesAssist other departments as needed to support production flowSupport continuous improvement initiatives and efficiency effortsPerform basic equipment and tool inspectionsSupport production deadlines and workflow demandsRequired QualificationsMinimum of 2+ years of pipe welding experienceMust pass:2" carbon monster coupon in 6G position2" schedule 10 stainless steel test in 6GGTAW (TIG) all the way outAdditional testing includes GMAW and FCAW in 6G on 6" carbon pipeAbility to read and interpret welding symbols and WPS documentsExperience welding carbon steel and stainless steelAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environmentWhy Join Us?We're committed to attracting talented individuals who seek a company with a strong foundation of success and an outstanding culture.
