We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Engineer to oversee and manage projects, which have scopes that include tenant improvements, ground-up construction, and renovation work. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. In addition, this role offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of seasoned industry leaders within Hawaii’s dynamic and thriving construction market.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of construction processes and procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in self-storage construction projects is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in construction management or engineering.

Work Environment

The role requires working on-site at various construction locations. The work environment involves working outdoors and in all weather conditions. Appropriate safety gear and attire must be worn at all times.

This is a Permanent position based out of Honolulu, HI.

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Honolulu,HI.

This position is anticipated to close on Sep 18, 2026.
