Kimco Staffing is hiring for a Laminator for our client in Ontario!

Position: Laminator

Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Monday- Friday OT as needed

Pay: $19.00 - $20 per hour

Job Description: .

• Receive production orders and job assignments from supervisor.
• Verify the materials supplied for production are correct to produce job.
• Laminates layers of raw material on liners or other raw materials.
• Pull proof sheets to confirm material position, adhesion and appearance and secure an approval prior to the production run.
• Places layers of material and liners in specific lengths and widths and smooths out wrinkles by hand.
• Trims excess material using hand shears or trimming knife.
• Mixes catalyst or primers prior and places on material prior to putting on liners, using brush.
• Works with saturated prime material and uses hands or squeegee, to remove air bubbles and smooth surfaces.
• Shears completed laminated material to desires sizes.
• Inspect, clean, and assemble material prior to start of work.
• Complete job maintaining optimum production rate while maintaining all quality standards according to customer specifications or company guidelines monitoring for defects.
• Maintain continuous inspection of job specifications and collecting production run samples as required.
• Follow all safety and operational procedures.
• Complete production records.
• Ensure proper cleanliness of immediate work area.

Skills & Qualifications :

• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• Ability to read a ruler.
• Work well in a team environment
• Work overtime as need
• Ability to work within department standards with a strong attention to details.
