Staff Accountant Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end close process
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Generate and analyze financial reports
- Perform data entry, document scanning, and other accounting support tasks
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with account reconciliations
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report financial data
- Collaborate with the accounting team to support daily financial operations
Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant Role
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
