Position Overview

This Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) role supports Registered Nurses by coordinating patient care through data collection, planning, implementation, and review for assigned patients during specified shifts. The LVN operates under RN supervision and provides care across diverse populations including infants (0-28 days), pediatrics (under 14 years), maternal-child (adolescents and adults), and adults (14 years and older).

Qualifications

• Preferred minimum of one year hospital experience.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current state Vocational Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification required within 30 days for Behavioral Health Unit and Emergency Department roles.
