Supervisor, GMP Lab - Biopharmaceuticals

Supervisor position overseeing daily operations of a biopharmaceutical GMP laboratory in Middleton, Wisconsin. Responsibilities include staff management, workflow coordination, quality compliance, and process improvement to ensure timely project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily biopharmaceutical department activities including hiring, performance management, and professional development
• Manage workflow, allocate resources, and monitor performance metrics against company revenue targets
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, GMP safety protocols, and company SOPs through monitoring and audits
• Identify process improvements, conduct root cause analysis on quality issues, and implement corrective actions
• Assist in preparation and implementation of operational policies and client standard operating procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience (5+ years preferred)
• 1+ year demonstrated leadership experience
• GMP or regulated laboratory environment background strongly preferred
• Root cause analysis and technical writing capabilities
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to train, mentor, and manage laboratory staff
