Sr Application Developer (LIMS)Location: Camden NJ 08103 United States (South Jersey area) under 1 hr drive only. MoI: Video and F2FClient Institute for Medical Research is in search of a Sr. Application Developer (LIMS). The Application Developer will work on the application development team, which develops and supports Coriell's custom LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System (ASP.Net, MVC, SQL Server, Entity Framework). Primary responsibilities include design, coding, testing, and debugging new LIMS workflows and helping improve existing ones.Essential Duties and Accountabilities:Expert in developing applications using ASP.NET MVC with Entity FrameworkExtensive hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, optimizing performance, and managing databases.Familiarity with LIMS workflows and lab workflows is a plus.Object-oriented design, design patterns, and programming using C#Familiarity with using continuous integration as part of the development processFamiliarity with Subversion/GIT for source controlExperience working with Agile software development techniques (Scrum)Ability to create rich client interfaces that ensure user-friendly softwareRobust code control and change control proceduresStrict adherence to accepted security standards and best practicesTesting excellence that ensures high-quality softwareStrong desire to learn and passion for technologyEducation: The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.5+ years of professional experience with Microsoft ASP.NET Web development is required.3+ years of professional experience with the following: Microsoft Visual Studio, C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, OO programming, Microsoft SQL Server; Stored procedures/Transact-SQL; SQL Server Reporting Services; HTML/CSS; JavaScript; and JavaScript libraries (jQuery).
