Legal Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary / Paralegal to support the Office of General Counsel. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of legal administrative experience , familiarity with Florida court systems, and experience supporting multiple attorneys. Key Responsibilities Provide legal secretarial and administrative support to assigned attorneys. Format, prepare, finalize, type, and file legal documents. Prepare correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents from drafts and templates. File pleadings and motions with appropriate courts or tribunals. Serve or coordinate service of legal documents. Maintain and organize attorney case files and records. Prepare subpoenas and discovery requests as directed. Schedule hearings, trials, depositions, and other legal proceedings. Coordinate court reporters and obtain transcripts. Manage attorney calendars and scheduling. Communicate with court personnel and judge's assistants as needed. Handle phone calls, correspondence, travel arrangements, and general administrative tasks. Assist with closing case files and office management activities as needed. Required Qualifications 3–5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, Paralegal, or similar role. Experience working with multiple attorneys . Familiarity with Florida court systems and legal procedures . Experience filing legal documents with courts or tribunals. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint .
