You can see some of our favorite projects here.Start your journey with OBE and help us build the future.Position SummaryThe Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for maintaining the corporate general ledger, overseeing the fixed asset subledger across all operating locations, and ensuring the accuracy of banking, intercompany, and financial reporting activities. This role plays a key part in the month-end close process, financial consolidations, compliance efforts, and capital asset management while supporting the organization's overall financial integrity and reporting requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Accounting & Financial ReportingPrepare journal entries and manage month-end close activities for corporate accounting functions.Prepare and maintain account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.Assist with month-end consolidation processes and financial reporting activities.Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Banking & Cash ManagementReview and reconcile daily banking activity.Initiate wire transfers and ACH funding transactions.Maintain authorized bank account signatories and related documentation.Review bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed.Intercompany AccountingReview, reconcile, and resolve intercompany transactions between corporate and operating entities.Ensure timely and accurate recording of intercompany activity.Fixed Assets & Capital ProjectsMaintain the fixed asset subledger for all operating locations.Prepare and monitor depreciation schedules.Track and manage Construction in Progress (CIP) projects, ensuring accurate capitalization and reporting.Monitor fixed asset additions, transfers, and disposals.Prepare monthly capital expenditure and capital spending reports.Compliance & ControlsSupport and maintain SOX compliance through the execution of required reviews and internal control procedures.Assist with audits and provide requested documentation as needed.Partner with the Tax team to maintain accurate property tax reporting.QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance.Experience2 to 3 years of progressive accounting experience.Experience working with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.Experience with fixed asset accounting is preferred.SAP experience is strongly preferred.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and positive attitude.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Position Pay Range$81,000 - $122,000 USDWhat OBE Offers YouBenefits that benefit you – industry competitive benefits at the lowest cost to the employeeWork-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can chooseCompensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonusesTraining – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeedOBE Privacy PolicyOBE will not discharge or discriminate against employees or applicants for discussing, disclosing, or inquiring about their own or others' pay.
