Overview Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel) in Portland, Oregon. Start date: 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,998–$2,013 with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Night shift: three 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting providing telemetry patient care. This assignment focuses on coordinated nursing care for a patient or patient group, utilizing established standards and the nursing process. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,998–$2,013 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) Start date: 09/14/2026 Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital telemetry unit; Epic EMR experience required Responsibilities Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for telemetry patients according to established standards and the nursing process. Collect and analyze patient data, monitor telemetry findings, and identify care needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans; coordinate care with physicians, support staff, and other disciplines; promote patient safety and healing environment. Administer medications and therapies, assess responses, and document in the electronic health record (Epic). Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately and ensure safe, effective care delivery. Participate in discharge planning, provide patient and family education, and support treatment team communication. Requirements Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (Oregon) or applicable compact licensure. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) required; Basic Life Support certification from an approved vendor per policy; ACLS or ARC-ALS required. Experience: At least 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care/telemetry; Telemetry experience preferred. Education: BSN preferred. Other: EPIC EMR experience required; ability to work night shifts in a hospital setting; strong critical thinking and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
