As a Security Officer Healthcare Patrol in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities across the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus grounds, academic buildings, residence areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe for policy violations, and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic during classes, events, move-in periods, and/or other high-activity times.
• Support a welcoming educational environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Vaccines are required for hospital assignments.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
