The selected candidate will become an integral part of the Advanced Weapons Business Unit Pricing & Estimating team while supporting Weapons Systems Division. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have the ability work in a fast-paced environment. This position will be located on-site in Northridge, CA. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Work in a team environment to develop proposals in response to customer requests Prepare Proposals in compliance with applicable government regulations and internal policies Present proposal recommendations to management Prepare certified cost and pricing data packages Support proposal audits and negotiations with customers This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Basic Qualifications Pricing Analyst: High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting or related experience Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience - OR - a Master's degree with 0 years of Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting related experience Experience in pricing, finance, contracts, business and/or business operations. Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools/applications, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Must have Active DoD security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel skills is highly preferred. Prior Price Estimating experience Experience with ProPricer Experience with Cost/Price Analysis Analytical Skills Presentation skills Organizational/Time Management skills and ability to multitask Self-motivated and works well in team environment Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other U.S. Federal Government contracting regulations Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
