Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Role: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing facility setting. Responsibilities Implement and follow individualized physical therapy treatment plans for patients. Assist patients in achieving functional goals and improving quality of life. Accurately document patient progress and utilize therapy software. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care. Participate in community health initiatives and maintain professional relationships. Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations. Assist in emergency evacuations and maintain dependable attendance. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT). Current licensure or registration in applicable state; CPR certified. Preferred one year of experience; new graduates welcome. Proficient in Microsoft Office and communication skills. Knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in post-acute care. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and good judgment. Key Attributes Excellent patient service and positive attitude.
