Millennium Power Service is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing team in Westfield, MA. Set up and operate a variety of manual and CNC machining equipment including: manual lathes and mills, PROTO TRAK lathes and milling machines, Bridgeport machines, Haas and Doosan multi-axis machines. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications. Program and edit machining operations using Mastercam and Proto Trak controls. Select tooling, fixtures, inserts, and materials for efficient machining operations. Manufacture precision components while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards. Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and depth gauges. Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to improve performance and minimize downtime. Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and fellow machinists to improve processes and production efficiency. Maintain accurate production and job records.

5–7+ years of machining experience preferred. Strong background in both CNC and manual machining. Experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC equipment. Mastercam programming experience preferred. Experience with Haas and Doosan machines is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T. Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, speeds, and metal properties. Proficient with precision measuring instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Solid math and geometry skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or machining certifications are a plus.

Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Overtime and weekend work available as needed. Opportunity for occasional travel to customer sites.
