Your Key Responsibilities
- Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized treatment plans
- Assessing and managing both acute and chronic health concerns independently or in collaboration with physicians based on your credentials
- Informing patients and their families about preventive health, wellness strategies, and disease management
- Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments within your practice scope
- Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care outreach
- Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated, comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to obtain within 90 days
- Exceptional clinical judgment complemented by a caring bedside manner
- Strong communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to flourish in fast-paced, patient-focused settings
- Familiarity with EMR systems along with aptitude for telehealth services
- Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based practice
