Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary tests, and creating personalized management plans
• Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions independently or in partnership with physicians as licensed
• Guiding patients and families through wellness, prevention, and disease management strategies
• Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with established protocols

Education and Certification Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Massachusetts
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to acquire them within 90 days
