Payroll Analyst

3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with a strong background in multi-state payroll processing and payroll tax compliance. This role is ideal for someone with 3–7 years of experience who has managed payroll for a mid-sized to large employee population (500+ employees) and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Primary Responsibilities: Process weekly or bi-weekly multi-state payroll for a primarily non-exempt workforce (500+ employees) Prepare and process off-cycle payments as needed Support the Finance team with payroll-related reporting and data requests Partner with HR generalists and department managers to ensure timely and accurate updates to employee records Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner Assist with the administration and processing of wage garnishments Collaborate with the Payroll Tax team to assist in research and filings Perform other payroll-related duties and special projects as assigned Required Qualifications: 3–7 years of hands-on payroll experience , including multi-state payroll and tax compliance Experience processing payroll for a company with 500+ employees Strong working knowledge of payroll tax principles and compliance practices Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization Team-oriented and adaptable to shifting priorities Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Knowledge of Oracle or similar payroll/HRIS systems APA certification (FPC or CPP) Experience working closely with Finance and Tax departments Seniority level Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Staffing and Recruiting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Addison Group by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Payroll Analyst” roles.
