Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' mental health statuses, identify their strengths and address their needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each individual’s situation.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote healing and recovery.

• Collaborate closely with a diverse array of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and nurses, to coordinate seamless patient care while maintaining consistent communication regarding treatment progress.

• Facilitate understanding amongst patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and necessary medications, empowering them in their treatment journey.

• Provide individualized care through one-on-one sessions, as well as group and family therapy, ensuring the methodologies align with best practices.

• Work with the treatment team to craft and adjust treatment plans that incorporate patients’ goals, preferences, and feedback.

• Advocate for patients within the complex mental health system, helping them navigate challenges and secure necessary resources.

• Lead therapeutic groups and psychoeducation sessions that address various mental health topics, and participate actively in discharge planning meetings.

Qualifications\n
