CNC Machinist Level 1 - 1st Shift

Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Level 1 CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Machining Department supporting production of high-quality precision components. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a dependable work ethic, which will align successfully in this team-oriented environment.

Job Title: CNC Machinist Level 1 (Temp-to-Hire) Location: West St. Louis County (centrally located) Schedule: Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Pay Range: $24 $28/hour depending on experience for 1st shift

What You'll Do

Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and precision machining equipment following work instructions Monitor machine feeds and speeds to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to produce quality components Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Maintain clean and safe work environment following quality and safety standards

What We're Looking For

REQUIRED- 2+ years CNC machining experience OR completion of technical/trade school program Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications MUST have own basic machinist tools (calipers, micrometers, deburring tools, etc.) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn and grow
