Fueler (Manheim)

Overview Position: Fueler Management – Individual Contributor Location: Specified Cox location (no remote option) Compensation: Hourly base pay $18.17–$27.21/hour (may vary based on location and qualifications). Eligibility for commission or incentive programs may apply. Responsibilities Distribute and accurately record gasoline disbursed in vehicles. Enter fuel usage in AS400 via TC75. Start vehicles, check fuel gages, mark vehicles that need fuel, and return to fuel them. Report and record Auction gasoline levels and alert proper person to avoid running out of gasoline in main fill area. Report inoperable vehicles to Supervisor or Assistant Manager. Jump start vehicles and put air in tires if needed. Report damage or malfunctioning equipment on vehicles (e.g., pumps, fuel trucks). Assist customers in locating vehicles. Assist in sale day duties as needed (e.g., drive, act as lane leader, jump start vehicles, etc.). Assist in audits of gasoline disbursement when necessary. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years of experience in a related field, OR a higher degree or certification beyond HS level in a related discipline, OR 5 years of experience in a related field. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; safe driver required. Physical capabilities: Regularly stand, walk, reach, talk and hear; frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb; medium strength; able to lift 1–50 pounds; vision required: close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship; no OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship. Safe Work Environment Exposure to outdoor elements, including extreme heat and cold. Moderate noise level. Drug Testing To be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre‑employment drug test. This position does not require a marijuana test; however, the workplace is drug‑free. Possession, use or being under the influence of illegal drugs during work hours, on company property or in company vehicles is prohibited.
