Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Wellness Social Attend Corporation, your daily responsibilities will involve:

• Conducting therapy sessions with couples and families, while also engaging in individual therapy to foster comprehensive treatment plans.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address issues such as family conflicts, substance abuse, grief and loss, and communication difficulties.

• Collaborating with other mental health professionals to create tailored treatment plans that meet the specific needs of each client.

• Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with organizational standards and state regulations.

• Participating in continuous professional development and training initiatives to enhance your clinical skills and stay abreast of best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults, adolescents, and families who seek assistance with a variety of challenges, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol and substance abuse disorders.
\n
• Physical and psychological abuse recovery.
\n
• Grief and loss navigating.
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts, including those between siblings and parents.
\n
• Adjustment issues related to separation and divorce.

• Communication barriers within families, such as mother/daughter conflicts.

• Challenges faced by blended families and the complexities of remarriage.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license within the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• Experience with telehealth services and the use of digital therapy platforms.
