Experience implementing direct speech services, including articulation, receptive and expressive language needs, and social communication. Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and administrators. Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info. Qualifications (Preferred) Experience working in the Malden Public Schools. SEI Endorsement. Duties and Responsibilities Plan and implement ESY Curriculum for students on IEP’s. Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records. Keep folders/portfolios with student work. Perform other related activities as required by the Program Coordinator. Develop Progress Reports at the end of the ESY Program. Duration Program Administration and Implementation 103 hours total to include the following: Professional In-service Days (Date TBD 3 hours). 20 days, Monday-Thursday, from July 6 – August 6 (7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.). Stipend: $40 an hour, $4,120 total (20 days/5 hrs + 1 inservice at 3 hours) Funding Source: Special Education To Apply: Apply formally on School Spring.
