They will recommend operational and industrial process improvements to Opco Plant management teams to improve efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.Job LocationThis is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the continental United StatesJob ResponsibilitiesMake sure that the work delivered in process area corresponds to higher value for CRH.Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.Support plants in troubleshooting.Analyze Plant operations and propose Process Improvement recommendations including Cost/Benefit Analysis.Undertake benchmarking studies and process audits to identify both weak and successful practices.Coordinate performance tests on operating plant systems to determine the efficiencies of the equipment.Provide assistance to management to ensure Plants operate within environmental and quality performance regulations.Prepare reports on the process improvement initiatives.Contribute to knowledge sharing within CRH. Keep updated on the latest technology in the process areas (raw material preparation, grinding and pyroprocessing).Educate, train and develop process staff in the plants.Assist project teams on process design for CAPEX projects.Lead major main equipment commissioning when needed.Take part in Due Diligence activities when needed.Job RequirementsSelf-starter with strong attention to detail.Strong leadership and communication skills.Strong organizational skills and self-management.Strategic vision with sound technical and analytical skills.Good judgment and strong operational focus.Forward-thinking and creative.High ethical standards and ability to present themselves professionally.Good cost awareness in terms of business economics.Ability to take decision in complex and international environment.Know-how and application information technology.Willingness to travel abroad.University degree (Bachelor/Master) in engineering (Mining, Process, Mechanical, Chemistry).Minimum 15 years' experience in cement manufacturing with experience in Cement plants and in Central/Support function.Excellent understanding of cement production processes: Pyro processing & Grinding.Solid background in Process Design.Ability to challenge local operation teams & managers in terms of performance and productivity.Have experience in cement plant commissioning role.Have work experience in a foreign country.Experience with process measurement tools and techniques is essential.Very good understanding of clinker chemistry and mineralogy.High level of knowledge and determination to support cost leadership.Good overview of the vendor business world in Production/Process area.Excellent English language skills.CompensationBase Salary - $150,000 - $160,000 per year401k planShort-Term/Long-Term DisabilityOpportunity for annual bonusWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
