RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under the direction of the Vice President, Radiation Services Manager, Dosimetrist, Physicist and/or the Radiation Oncologist the Radiation Therapist Lead is responsible for the coordination of care as it relates to radiation oncology.
• Responsible for the daily operations of the technical operations.
• This includes daily treatments on the linear accelerators, special procedures and simulations.
• Responsible to know, understand and uphold the SOP's.
• Orient and train staff on SOP's and new procedures.
• Assure safe staffing levels on linear accelerators.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's degree is required.
• Must have ARRT (T) certification.
• A valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT, RTT) license in state of employment.
• Associate's degree is required.
• Five (5) years of previous clinical radiation therapy experience required.
• Management/Leadership experience is needed.
• BLS required (AHA preferred)

• Communication Skills : Effective communication skills (oral, written, presentation), is an active listener, and effectively provides balanced feedback.
• Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills is required.
• Customer Service & Organizational Awareness: Strong customer focus.
• Ability to build an engaging culture of quality,
• performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political acumen, collaboration and partnerships, as well as a positive employee, physician and community relations.
• Self-Managemen t: Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development.
• Self-motivated and self-starter with ability work independently with limited supervision.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.
• Computer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
• Certifications/Licenses : A valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT/RTT) license required.
• ARRT Certified BLS Certified CPR Certified
• Valid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
• Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required
