Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly residents, identifying individual care needs and specific mental health challenges. \n Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on emotional issues arising from aging, grief, and life transitions. \n Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop integrated care plans that address both mental and physical health concerns for geriatric clients. \n Provide staff training and resource materials to family members and caregivers aimed at enhancing the emotional well-being of elderly clients. \n Implement specialized grief and loss counseling strategies for individuals and families coping with the effects of aging and end-of-life issues. \n Design and conduct cognitive stimulation activities that promote mental acuity and active engagement among elderly participants. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Our primary focus is on the geriatric population, serving seniors who are navigating significant life changes, such as loss, health issues, or the everyday challenges associated with aging.
