TIG Welder needed for Production Job in Albuquerque

Monday-Friday schedule 6am-2:30pm

Must have TIG experience

Job Description:

This role focuses on the assembly and welding of commercial and industrial solar panel racks and frames. You will interpret shop drawings, use jigs to assemble components accurately, and contribute to production activities such as loading and unloading products and operating a forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills:

• At least 1 year of experience in welding within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in TIG welding on aluminum components.
• Ability to perform MIG welding and general fabrication work.
• Experience reading and interpreting diagrams, shop drawings, and blueprints.
• Hands-on experience using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with sheet metal and aluminum.
• Experience in production welding in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in fabrication of structural components for commercial or industrial applications.
• Strong attention to detail when assembling and welding components.
• Comfort working with jigs and fixtures to ensure consistency in production.
• Willingness to assist in general production tasks beyond welding when needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, NM.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
