Oversee weekly audit of corporate stores. To request accommodation, please contact Human Resources.Stay current with the daily bank processingOversee Audit of weekly corporate sales report for necessary supporting documentation and identify better processesPrepare and post numerous journal entries for cost allocations and month end accrualsMaintain up-to-date Balance Sheet ReconciliationsReview monthly P&L's vs. budget.Assist with the annual financial audit and related workpapersProvide Information to the Controller as neededUpdate marketing COOP Financials and ReportsPrepare and review weekly 'flash' reports to identify and communicate areas of concern to management teamCommunicate with co-workers, management, and restaurant employees in a courteous and professional mannerConform to and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructionsOther duties as assigned that may include: cash, A/R collections, credit cards, gift cards, and other ad hoc projectsAdapt to all potential changes within the functions aboveContinuously learn and look for new, more efficient, ways of doing thingsOther duties as assignedPOSITIONS SUPERVISEDNoneTRAVEL REQUIREDNonePOSITION QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in AccountingPublic Accounting experience welcomed2-3 years of Accounting experienceStrong financial reporting and analytical skills with the ability to accumulate, organize and assimilate data from multiple data sources and the ability to turn data into insightsStrong knowledge of GAAP desiredGeneral ledger experienceStrong communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organizationExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerBI, Outlook and PowerPoint)Experience working with Accounting SoftwareAbility to adapt to new and changing technologyCOMPETENCIESAccountability - Take ownership of actions and results, follow through, and learn from mistakes.Accuracy - Maintain accuracy and comply with established performance standards.Dependability - Meet expectations consistently, follow through, and be dependable.Job Knowledge - Understand the role and apply skills and experience to perform effectively.Problem Solving - Identify issues and find effective solutions.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis position may be exposed to moderate noise within the office.
