The Opportunity

\n

\n

Fleet Hero is looking for a motivated, driven, and results oriented Outside Sales Representative to help grow our customer base and expand our presence in the commercial trucking and transportation equipment market.

\n

This is a business development focused position for someone who enjoys getting out in the field, building relationships, opening new accounts, and closing deals.

\n

You'll be selling products that trucking companies and fleet operators regularly need, creating opportunities for repeat business and long term customer relationships.

\n

What makes this opportunity attractive? You earn a competitive base salary plus 10% commission on gross profit from the very first dollar earned. No minimum gross profit threshold to start earning commissions.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n

\n
• Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities with trucking companies, transportation fleets, repair shops, trailer dealers, and other commercial customers.
\n
• Conduct outside sales visits, customer meetings, and product presentations to generate new business.
\n
• Sell Fleet Hero's complete product lineup, including cargo securement equipment, truck parts, trailer accessories, tarps, chains, straps, and fleet supplies.
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to generate repeat orders and long term business.
\n
• Develop and manage a pipeline of potential customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and direct visits.
\n
• Prepare product quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
\n
• Identify customer purchasing needs and recommend appropriate products.
\n
• Maintain consistent communication with customers and follow up on quotes, orders, and new opportunities.
\n
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.
\n
• Meet and exceed individual sales and gross profit goals.
\n

What We're Looking For

\n

\n
• Previous outside sales, business development, or B2B sales experience.
\n
• Experience selling truck parts, trailer equipment, cargo securement products, industrial supplies, or related products is strongly preferred.
\n
• Existing relationships within the trucking, transportation, fleet maintenance, or commercial vehicle industry are a major plus.
\n
• Proven ability to prospect, develop new accounts, and close business.
\n
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
\n
• Self motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple customers, opportunities, and follow ups.
\n
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout an assigned sales territory.

Commission Example:

Generate $30,000 in monthly gross profit and earn $3,000 in commission , in addition to your base salary.

Generate $50,000 in monthly gross profit and earn $5,000 in commission , in addition to your base salary.
