Senior Cost Accountant

Atrium is currently partnering with one of our favorite clients on a very specific search! We are currently recruiting for a Sr Cost Accountant with the ability to travel. This role can sit in either New Orleans/Pontchartrain, LA or Richmond, VA and will require frequent travel to the opposite location. What we are looking for: 5+ years of experience in Cost Accounting for a large manufacturing company Knowledge of SOX and GAAP accounting controls Deep knowledge of inventory, fixed assets, conversion costs and manufacturing overhead Preferably experience with SAP, but JDE or Oracle could also work Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact as a high level with manufacturing and supply chain leaders as well as corporate leadership Ability to travel and be a consistent presence onsite at the manufacturing facilities CPA, CMA, or MBA would be a huge plus (Bachelor's Degree is required) *This is a very exciting company to work for, going through some exciting times, and an opportunity to work with A++ leadership with the potential for growth in the company through several different paths!
