EXECUTIVE CHEF — ENOTECA NYC
Enoteca is looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary direction of our Spanish restaurants in New York City.
We are seeking someone with strong professional experience in Spanish cuisine , with a deep understanding of traditional flavors and techniques while also bringing creativity, consistency, and a modern approach to the kitchen.
Our menu is rooted in the food of Spain, with a particular influence from the Basque Country , including pintxos, tapas, seafood, paellas, charcuterie, and classic Spanish dishes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
• Spanish and/or Basque cuisine
• High-volume NYC restaurant operations
• Menu development and seasonal specials
• Food costing, purchasing, inventory and waste control
• Kitchen organization and systems
• Hiring, training and developing BOH teams
• Maintaining consistency across multiple locations
• NYC Department of Health standards and food safety
• Working closely with ownership and FOH management
We are looking for a chef who is hands-on, organized, creative and demanding about quality , but who also knows how to build and motivate a strong kitchen team.
This is not simply a position to execute an existing menu. We want someone who can help us continue developing the culinary identity of Enoteca and take our Spanish food program to its next level.
