Purchasing ManagerThe Purchasing Manager at SERVPRO oversees all procurement activities supporting mitigation and reconstruction operations. This role is responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, and ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services. The Purchasing Manager plays a critical role in maintaining project profitability—especially for reconstruction jobs—by aligning purchasing strategies with budgets, timelines, and quality standards.Benefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid time offKey Responsibilities:Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliersSource, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricingNegotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize cost savings and support gross profit goalsCreate, review, and track purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of materialsCollaborate with project managers, estimators, and operations teams to align purchasing with project scopes and budgetsMonitor material costs and market trends to proactively manage expensesSupport gross profit targets on reconstruction jobs through strategic purchasing and cost controlResolve vendor issues, including delays, quality concerns, and billing discrepanciesMaintain accurate records of purchases, pricing agreements, and vendor performanceEnsure compliance with company policies, insurance requirements, and industry standardsIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costsAssist with inventory management and material forecasting as neededQualifications:Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (construction or restoration industry preferred)Strong negotiation and vendor management skillsKnowledge of construction materials, estimating, and job costingExcellent organizational and communication abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentCompensation: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
