Procurement Specialist

As a Procurement Specialist , you will play a crucial role in supporting the Business Development and Operations teams by managing the procurement database and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. You will be involved in coordinating with vendors, sourcing, maintaining databases, ensuring compliance and assisting with spend analysis.

To be successful as our Procurement Specialist, you should have:

• High School Diploma; coursework or degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• 1-5 years procurement experience, preferred
• 1-3 years ISO industry experience, required
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills; proficiency in warehousing, logistics, tank operations, or industrial environments, preferred
• Willingness to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Procurement Specialist responsibilities will include:

• Maintain, update, communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, contracts and maintain procurement database
• Track and monitor vendor performance metrics and KPI reporting; identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
• Verify invoice accuracy against purchase orders and pricing agreements; support internal / external procurement audits
• Collaborate with Operations and Business Development teams on daily administrative needs
