Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule: 5x8 M-F day shifts; no weekends or holidays required Orientation: 08001630 (likely first two weeks)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
• CA state Nuclear Medicine license (must be active and in-hand)
• BLS certification required
• Acceptable registry: NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear
• Prior PET experience preferred; training available
• Clinical skills: PET/CT, general nuclear medicine procedures (SPECT, V/Q, renal, cardiac, bone), starting/maintaining IVs; PACS/EKG familiarity

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform general nuclear medicine procedures and PET/CT scans
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient reactions
• Collaborate with healthcare team to determine optimal imaging procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Compliance / Notes:

• CA state license must be active and in-hand at submission
• SSN and DOB required for compliance/background checks
• LA Fire Card within last 30 days required (facility will not reimburse)
• References: 2 required covering 1 year of recent experience (within last 3 years)
• Must commit to working 3 of these 5 holidays if required: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, New Year's Day
