It is a vital link in the integrated product development process that allows our company to introduce reliable new products faster, better, and more economically.An effective candidate for the Electrical Engineering position will participate in multi-discipline teams supporting primarily military programs through application of EE resources and design processes. Chosen candidate will be a team member working on the design, analysis and support of electronics products.What You Will Do:EO/IR, digital, analog, sustaining and production electronics support, components engineering, and product development engineeringDigital, analog, FPGA/VHDL programming or ASIC support, sustaining and production electronics support, components engineering, and product development engineeringTransistor level analog and EO/IR design of Integrated Circuits using multiple modern semiconductor technologiesParticipating as a team member in detailed circuit designConfigurable digital logic development using VHDLFunctional analysisFunctional verification testingWorking with engineering and production personnel to troubleshoot and provide root cause and corrective action to design and process issuesWhat You Will Learn:You will learn and utilize applicable internal processes and tools for the development of system level hardware. In addition, the successful candidate will learn frequent use and application of technical standards, concepts and techniques.Candidates will be expected to provide recommendations for a variety of technical problems of appropriate scope and complexity, working under general supervision.Effective candidates should expect to be immersed in an exciting, team-based, and challenging technical environment where one with ability and initiative can thrive.Qualifications You Must Have:2+ years of professional experience or an Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceExperience and understanding of how to document test results and repair recommendations, testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits, how to read drawings and electrical schematics and understand Ethernet, UDP and 1588 protocols.Working knowledge of EE lab equipment (i.e., Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, signal sources)Working understanding of design instruments such as Matlab, LabVIEW, Keysight ADS, Genesys, PSPICE, Ansys HFSS, AutoCAD, Mentor Graphics Design Architect, Mentor Expedition Design & Analysis Tool Suite and/or DX Designer for PWB schematic captureQualifications We Prefer:Experience designing airborne electronic products with stringent size, weight, and power (SWAP) constraintsMentor Graphics XPedition schematic captureProficiency in VHDL and VerilogExperience with ModelSim / QuestaSimStrong TCL scripting capabilityExperience with FPGA toolchains (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, or equivalent)Familiarity with Git or equivalent version control systemsExperience with simulation-based verificationExposure to JIRA or similar issue tracking methodologiesExposure to MATLAB/Simulink, including HDL generation workflows and integration into FPGA toolchainsWhat We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
