Job Summary

Moving Helpers are responsible for assisting with residential and commercial moves, handling furniture and materials safely, and supporting warehouse operations when not on job sites. The ideal candidate is physically strong, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on teamwork and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Field (Moving Jobs):

Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment from trucks
Safely wrap, protect, and handle customer belongings
Assist with residential and commercial moves
Follow directions from foreman/team lead
Maintain professionalism on customer job sites
Ensure items are handled without damage or injury

Warehouse Duties:
Receive, organize, and stage incoming/outgoing materials
Load/unload trucks in the warehouse
Inventory support and basic material handling
Keep warehouse clean, safe, and organized
Prepare equipment and supplies for upcoming jobs
Requirements
Must be able to lift 50–100 lbs repeatedly
Valid driver’s license preferred (not always required, but a plus)
Must pass background check
Reliable transportation to report location
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends
Strong work ethic and punctuality required
Team-oriented attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Previous moving, warehouse, construction, or labor experience
Experience using dollies, straps, and moving equipment
Customer service mindset
Ability to follow safety procedures consistently
