Job Title: Assistant Project Coordinator

Summary

The Assistant Project Coordinator supports project activities by assisting with scheduling, documentation, communication, and administrative tasks. This role works closely with operations, production, purchasing, and project teams to help ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with coordinating daily project activities and schedules.
• Maintain project records, spreadsheets, and documentation.
• Support communication between departments, vendors, and customers.
• Track project timelines, materials, and task completion.
• Prepare reports, meeting notes, and project updates
• Assist with purchase orders, work orders, and ERP data entry.
• Follow up on open items and pending action tasks.
• Help ensure projects remain on schedule and organized.
• Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Perform general administrative and coordination duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

Required:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred:

Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications, Etc.:

Required:

• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred:

• 1–2 years of administrative, coordination, manufacturing, or office support experience.

Physical Demands

• The ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment

• Office and manufacturing plant environment.
• Occasional overtime may be required based on project needs.
